Thermoelectric cooling is based on the Peltier effect, where applying an electric current between two different semiconductor materials deliberately transports heat from one side of a module to the other. The cold side extracts energy from the object to be cooled, while the warm side releases it to the environment. This effect works completely without moving parts or refrigerants - making them low-maintenance cooling modules - a clear advantage over conventional compressor cooling systems. This enables us to produce durable cooling modules for a wide range of applications. Our cooling plates & modules use this technology specifically: They enable precise temperature control on surfaces for temperature-sensitive applications in power electronics, laser technology, laboratory technology or mechanical engineering as well as industrial cooling solutions. Our thermoelectric systems offer high cooling performance in a compact design.
